Nintendo Europe has just released the list of the twenty most played Switch titles this year in Europe. And we will really have to force ourselves to find a reason for surprise, as the occupants of this top 20 all have a logical reason to be present here.

We can obviously always try to communicate the least amount of information about oneself, but when Nintendo recently emailed Switch players an email collecting a number of stats on their console experience, it was a fair share of screenshots. In other words, Nintendo had hit where it felt rather good.

And it is undoubtedly based on these same data that Nintendo Europe has just communicated to its players the list of the twenty most played games on Switch this year. We are also told that “the ranking is established according to the total playing time recorded on the Nintendo Switch consoles of holders of a European Nintendo Account who have authorized the sharing of their usage information. ”The information is however satisfied with the strict minimum, namely the titles of the softwares, without the slightest playing time to eat.

Regardless, Nintendo has now issued an official list of the most-played Switch games of 2019, based on players’ play time. To be as clear as possible, the ranking below is “based on time played on all Nintendo Switch consoles with a European Nintendo Account for which data sharing is enabled”.
